School is starting soon! Here are the Utah child labor laws regarding work hour restrictions.

There are no limitations on students 16 & 17 years of age.

Ages 14 & 15 During the time that school is in session, students may only work:

4 hours per day on a school day. From 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on days that precede a school day. (Usually Sunday or a holiday)

8 hours per day on a non-school day.

A max of 40 hours per week.
