		<description>The IRS is very clear on what you have to keep but not specific on where.  To simplify and to ensure the safety of the documents my recommendation is to keep the required data at your main office.  When the time comes to pull that information you&#039;ll then have the necessary documents all there at your main office.</description>

		<description>Where should the &quot;record keeping&quot; be stored if our payroll is done in another state?  In other words all receipts all records, payroll etc..  Would we be penalized (taxes) if we do our payroll in a different state.

My feeling is that all records should be kept in our main office location and not where the checks for payroll and bills are being paid.  i could be wrong</description>
